Woman Hit By Gunfire

WILKES-BARRE — Officials in Luzerne County said a woman was taken to the hospital after a shooting Monday.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. at the Valley View Terrace apartments on High Street in Wilkes-Barre.

A city spokesperson said he does not know if the woman lived in the apartments.

Police also haven’t said if they know who is responsible for the shooting.

There is no word on the condition of the victim.
