UNIVERSITY PARK — More changes have been made to the front of Beaver Stadium as Penn State tries to move on from the sex abuse scandal.

Trees were planted over the weekend on the site where the statue of Joe Paterno stood for about a decade.

The statue was removed from the front of stadium after an internal investigation found Paterno worked with other high-ranking officials to cover up abuse allegations against his former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky.

Sandusky is awaiting sentencing on charges he sexually abused 10 boys, some at Penn State.
