PORTER TOWNSHIP -- Almost 20 fire departments battled a shed fire Tuesday afternoon in Clinton County.
Fire crews said they were dispatched to a fire at Steven K. Bierly Trucking, on Nittany Valley Drive, Porter Township, around 1:00 p.m.
According to a Nittany Valley's Fire Chief the flames destroyed the shed, which contained around 200 tires. He also said he is not sure how the fire started.
Steven Bierly, the owner of the shop, said he tried to put the fire out with garden hoses but the flames proved to be to intense. Bierly said he then called 911.
No one was hurt. An investigation is underway.
