Scout Treasurer Sent To Jail

DANVILLE — A woman who admitted to stealing thousands of dollars for the Boy Scouts was sentenced Tuesday in Montour County court.

Tracey Myers of Danville was sentenced to 1 to 12 months in county jail. She also has paid full restitution.

Myers admitted to stealing over $4,000 while she was the treasurer of Troop 37 in Danville.

In court, Myers said “I wish this didn’t happen. It won’t happen again.”
