Two Shot at Apartment Complex

HANOVER TOWNSHIP -- Two men in Luzerne county were hospitalized after being shot Saturday afternoon.

Police said the shooting happened around 1:45 p.m. at the Hanover Village Apartments in Hanover Township. 

Authorities said when they arrived to the apartment complex, they found close to 20 men fighting near the 100 block.  Witnesses said several gunshots were fired.

According to responders, Khauri McPhail, 25, and Sean McPhail, 26, both of New York, were shot during the scuffle and taken to Wilkes-Barre General Hospital by a private vehicle. 

The men were treated in the emergency room then transferred to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital. Their current conditions have not been released.

State police are investigating the shooting.
