Lackawanna County Restaurant Closed

SCRANTON- Bartenders at Farley’s in Scranton poured the pub’s last drink Saturday morning.

The restaurant and bar has been an anchor on Scranton’s courthouse square for nearly 30 years.

It was a busy night as customers lined up to come say goodbye to a familiar place.

The owners of Farley’s say they don’t blame the economy for the closure, it was just time to move on.
