STROUDSBURG — A man was taken to the hospital after he was hit by a car in Monroe County, according to police.
Officers tell us the man was trying to cross Main Street in Stroudsburg around 8:30 a.m. Thursday when he was hit.
There is no word on his condition.
Police are still investigating but at this point, they do not expect to file charges against the driver who hit the pedestrian.
