Charges Updated In Hit And Run Death

WILKES-BARRE — A woman charged in connection with a deadly hit and run in Luzerne County was back in court Wednesday.

Police believe Danielle Castrignano of Kingston was the driver of a car that hit and killed a man in a wheelchair.

It happened along South River Street  in Wilkes-Barre last Month,

The victim, Corey Ryan, 20, later died from his injuries.

In court Wednesday morning, prosecutors amended the charges against Castrignano. She now faces a felony charge of causing an accident involving death.
