MILTON -- A man in Northumberland County was sentenced Monday after pleading guilty to child sex charges in April.
Matthew Godfrey, 27, of Watsontown, received up to 23 months in prison plus probation. He also will need to register under Megan's law.
Godfrey pleaded guilty in April on charges having sex with a minor.
Godfrey was the assistant athletic director and athletic trainer at Warrior Run Area School. According to court documents, Godfrey had a physical relationship with a student from June, 2011 to November, 2011.
