EDWARDSVILLE -- Police in Luzerne County took a man into custody after driving his car into the Gateway Shopping Center in Edwardsville Monday night.
Authorities said the car ran into the old Five Star Chinese Cuisine restaurant in the shopping center after 6:00 p.m.
Investigators said the driver was taken into custody because of suspicions of driving while intoxicated. One passenger was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police are still investigating the crash.
