SHENANDOAH — A man is behind bars in Schuylkill County after he stabbed a woman, according to police.
Maurice Townsend, 24, from Shenandoah was picked up Sunday night.
Authorities believe he slashed a woman’s arm during an argument on Cherry Street in Shenandoah around 7:30 p.m.
Townsend faces aggravated assault and reckless endangerment charges.
He was taken to the Schuylkill County prison on $50,000 bail.
