Women Charged for April Thefts

MONROETON — Two women in Bradford County were charged Thursday for allegedly stealing from two different homes over a period of 24 hours in April.

Sabrina Teneyck, 36, of Troy, and Brandy Eakins, 29, of Elmira, New York, were charged for allegedly stealing a car and debit card from a home in Monroeton on April 29.

Police said Teneyck and Eakins also stole a 55″ television from a home in Gillet within 24 hours of the car jacking in Monroeton.

Both women are locked up in prison.  A hearing is scheduled for the beginning of August.
