BLOOMSBURG — Police in Columbia County arrested two people Friday in connection to a jewelry theft that happened in June.
Bloomsburg police charged Jennifer Planutis, 37, and James Rodino, 31, both from the Hazleton area, with stealing five rings valued at $3,000.
Authorities began investigating after Sneidman’s Jewelry store in Bloomsburg reported merchandise missing on June 28. Video surveillance showed Planutis removing a the rings from an unlocked display case.
Both Planutis and Rodino are locked up in Columbia County.
