Stabbings at Underage Drinking Party

POLK TOWNSHIP — A man in Monroe county faces charges of attempted homicide after stabbing two people at a party early Monday morning.

State police said James Lindsey, 20, of Saylorsburg, attended an underage drinking party at the Eldo Lakes Development in Polk Township. 

According to authorities, Lindsey and two others began fighting. Troopers said Lindsey stabbed one of the victims in the chest and the other in the thigh and left side of his body.  He then fled the area.

Authorities said a potential third victim may have been attacked by Lindsey.

He faces two counts of criminal attempted homicide and aggravated assault.

Troopers are still investigating the stabbings.
