BARTONSVILLE — A flaming tractor-trailer brought traffic to a standstill early Wednesday in Monroe County.

Interstate 80 west was closed near the Bartonsville exit (301) after the rig went up in flames around 6:30 a.m.

The westbound lanes of the highway were shut down for several hours.

Traffic was detoured off the exit while crews cleaned up the mess.
