Jordan Hoyt is back home in Clarks Summit training with her younger sister Lauren. In a few weeks Hoyt hops on an airplane for the 2012 London Olympic games.

She won't be in competition, but will be working as an assistant logger for beach volleyball. University students like Jordan now at Pittsburgh are awarded scholarships to help with the 24 hour sports coverage, and Jordan was one of the lucky ones chosen.

"We'll around January this past year I thought I would just see if I had an opportunity to go to the Olympics this summer, because it's a chance of a lifetime and I applied to a bunch of different internships like NBC, ESPN, and the Olympic committee. It was a big shot in the dark and I ended up getting the opportunity to work with NBC sports," said Jordan Hoyt.

"What an experience it is going to be. Talk about it. Have you ever been over to Europe? Have you ever been over to England? I haven't this will be my first time so I'm very excited. What do you think it is going to be like over there? Probably hectic because of the Olympics. So I'm excited to see the atmosphere," again said Jordan.

Jordan just finished her second outdoor season of track and field at the University of Pittsburgh and placed 4th in the big east in the 200 meter dash. She has two years left to get to the top of the conference a place she knows well after winning the AAA state title in 2010.

"Yes! I'm loving it there. Thanks to my new sprint coach Kia Davis. She has been a great help. She has brought our sprint squad and the rest of the team a big way from where we were last year. So a big thanks to her."

As an athlete you dream of making it to the Olympics. Jordan still has time for the 2016 games. This time around she will be cheering on team USA.
