ROARING BROOK TOWNSHIP — Some ATV riders got a little too close to a train in Lackawanna County.

Police in Roaring Brook Township, near Moscow, said the operator of the train from Steamtown in Scranton had to put on the brakes to avoid hitting the girls around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Cops said the girls who are around 10 and five years old left the ATV behind and took off.
