WILLIAMSPORT -- A former candidate for the state House of Representatives and his wife now face criminal charges in Lycoming County.
Christopher Bain and his wife Misty are charged with forgery and related charges.
The district attorney's office said the charges stem from fraudulent signatures on Christopher's nominating petitions.
Investigators searched the Bain’s home in April, seeking evidence of forgery.
The Bains are free on bail, after being charged Monday morning in Lycoming County.
