SCRANTON — A woman is recovering after being stabbed at a hotel, according to Scranton police.
It happened around 8 p.m. Monday at the Red Carpet Inn on Franklin Avenue.
Police believe Arthur Hamlett stabbed his girlfriend Dena Wiktorek in the chest and slashed her face, then slashed himself.
Hamlett faces assault and other charges.
Wiktorek was taken to the hospital after the attack.
