Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck by Van

MOOSIC — A man died Saturday after being hit by a minivan Friday in Lackawanna County.

The Lackawanna County coroner said Jarrid Coleman, 23, of Moosic died from his injuries related to the crash.

Coleman was struck around 2:30 p.m. Friday afternoon on Route 11 in Moosic.

He was rushed to Geisinger CMC in Scranton, but died on Saturday afternoon.

Police said the death is being labeled as accidental, however it is still under investigation.
