LEHIGH TOWNSHIP — State police in Wayne County are searching for an arsonist who set fire to a golf cart at a home in Lehigh Township, Friday.
According to state police, the arsonist dumped an oil mixture on a wooden deck of a mobile home in Breezewood Acres. The person then made a trail of charcoal lighter fluid from the deck to a golf cart parked next to the deck.
Authorities said the person then set fire to the golf cart hoping the flames would travel and ignite the deck.
Fire officials said the deck and the home were not damaged.
