Groups of volunteers are about to fan out in our area in boats along the Susquehanna River in Wyoming County.  It’s all part of a massive cleanup effort called “Operation North Branch.”  The goal is to cleanup debris with volunteers and boats in areas that have been hard to reach following our area’s fall flooding.  Cleanups take place today in Laceyville starting at 8:45 a.m. and tomorrow in the Tunkhannock area starting at  9 a.m.  Help is still needed from those who own boats.
