GILBERT, and MOUNTAINTOP -- Two groups of bikers hit the road Sunday to help children struggling with illness.

In Monroe County, bikers rode for a child who was diagnosed with a rare and incurable disease.

The second annual Bella's Biking for Trisomy 18 kicked off Sunday morning in Gilbert.

Trisomy 18 is a rare disease that affects a certain chromosome in infants.

Annabella Hope was two-and-a-half-months old when the disease ended her life.

"She was my life and with the diagnosis of Trisomy 18, they don't have options at life,” said Annabella’s mother Virginia Buccieri. “I feel my daughter really contributed today by raising awareness."

All money raised near Saylorsburg goes to a non-profit organization that's helping find a treatment for the rare disease.

In Luzerne County, a group rode in a poker run to support a child with neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer.

Bikers paraded through Mountain Top for 6-year old Audrianna Bartol.  She's been battling the disease since 2009.

Live entertainment, food, and games were provided for those who came out to support little Audrianna.
