HONESDALE — A jury in Wayne County found an incarcerated man guilty of killing a fellow inmate.
Allen Archie Hurley, 46, who is currently locked up at the United States Penitentiary Canaan, was found guilty of manslaughter. According to court documents, Hurley killed inmate Joseph O’Kane by stabbing him approximately 92 times in his own cell.
Hurley faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison.
Sentencing is scheduled for September.
