Highway Slowed By Rig Wreck

EAST STROUDSBURG — Part of Interstate 80 westbound in Monroe County is open again after a tractor-trailer crash closed down the road for nearly two hours.

The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. Thursday near East Stroudsburg.

Both lanes of Interstate 80 were shut down until around 8:30.a.m.

Authorities said crews were busy cleaning up fuel that leaked from the rig.

Traffic in the area was backed up for miles.

There is no word on injuries or the cause of the wreck.
