Judge Sentences Woman for Theft

A woman in Lycoming County was sentenced Monday to a maximum of nine and a half years in prison for stealing money from a former client she worked for.

Deborah McKissick, of Williamsport, was convicted in March on theft charges. Prosecutors said Mckissick stole close to $20,000 from Silvya Grenabaum’s retirement fund in 2010.

According to court documents, McKissick deposited checks into Grenabaum’s account then wired herself the money.
