Wilkes-Barre police said the driver of a hit-and-run vehicle turned herself over to authorities Saturday night.
Danielle Castrignano, 20, of Kingston is now in the Luzerne County Jail.
Police said Castrignano struck Corey Ryan on South River Street in Wilkes-Barre early Friday morning.
Ryan, a paraplegic, was in a wheelchair.
He was taken to Geisinger Wyoming Valley with critical injuries.
Police said after the crash, security cameras got a shot of Castrignano’s car taking off across the Market Street Bridge.
Castrignano faces a list of charges.
She told her lawyer she thought she hit a shopping cart, according to police.
