Two more churches in Snyder County were broken into.

State police said in the past week, someone forced open a door at Grace Reformed Church outside Middleburg and stole $80 worth of chips and drinks.

Old Shreiners Church near Shamokin Dam was also broken into, but nothing was taken.

In the past two months, similar crimes have been committed at other churches in Snyder and Union counties.

That brings the total to at least 18 places of worship targeted by thieves in that part of central Pennsylvania.
