Southern Columbia falls to Fannett-Metal in ‘A’ Championship Game

The title match at Penn State University was a hard fought pitchers duel between Southern Columbia’s Mallory Tomaschik and Fannett-Metal’s Blaire Lauthers.

It came down to the only run of the game by Fannett-Metal, scored in the 5th inning off an RBI single from Lauthers.

The Tigers had a chance but couldn’t get their bats to produce some hits, ending their season with the 1-0 loss and runners up for the state title.
