Pilot Alive After Plane Crash

A single-engine plane crashed in Luzerne County near the Hazleton Airport, according to emergency officials.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. Monday in Butler Township.

Emergency responders said the pilot was the only one on board and he walked away from the crash unharmed.

The Federal Aviation Agency is conducting an investigation to determine the reason the plane crashed.

According to the FAA, the plane was traveling from Burlington, Vermont, to Hazleton.
