Money Stolen From Church

Someone broke into a church in Snyder County between Sunday night and Monday morning, according to state police.

Troopers said the thief used a crowbar to forced the back door open at Beaver Lutheran Church on Route 522 in Beavertown.

Once inside, troopers believe the thief went into the church office and searched through drawers and cabinets for money.  The person stole $328.25 from the church then fled the area.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police at Selinsgrove.
