In Monday's Video Vault, we went back to the year 2000.
It was Jerry Sandusky's final season as Penn State's defensive coordinator. As he stepped away from the sidelines, Sandusky wanted to focus on his charitable work.
Specifically the foundation for troubled youth he started called The Second Mile.
That charity is of course right in the middle of the abuse scandal. Newswatch 16 has edited the video from its original form to protect children involved in the story.
This story is from 2000 before any accusations against Sandusky went public.
From the Video Vault, Newswatch 16's J. Kristopher reports.
