Homicide Charges Filed in Fatal Crash

A man from New Jersey was charged Monday in connection with a fatal crash in Monroe County that claimed the life of a man from Scranton in 2010.

According to police, Jaswinder Singh was driving a tractor-trailer on Route 33 south heading to Easton in July, 2010 when he veered off the highway.  Singh hit a car driven by Paul Miller, 21, of Scranton.

Miller died at the scene.

Singh is charged with homicide by vehicle and involuntary manslaughter.
