Fire Claims Woman’s Life

An elderly woman is dead after a fire Monday in Susquehanna County.

State police said Helen Murphy, 78, died in a fire on Harmony Road in Great Bend Township.

According to troopers, the fire appeared to be accidental.

State police said the fire is under investigation.
