With Jerry Sandusky's trial looming, his defense team tried one last time to delay it.

Jerry Sandusky is accused of sexually abusing 10 boys over 15 years.

The former Penn State assistant football coach faces 52 counts for the alleged abuse, which he has denied.

Tuesday, Sandusky, his attorney and prosecutors met in Centre County court.

That was a meeting about a defense motion to postpone jury selection; it was a motion Senior Judge John Cleland denied.

Some of Sandusky's alleged victims asked to keep their identities secret at trial, as well.

Wednesday was a pretrial hearing.

Sandusky's attorney argued there was not enough evidence for Sandusky to be tried on charges related to three of the 10 alleged victims.

Thursday, Sandusky's defense team asked the Pennsylvania Superior Court to reconsider the motion to delay the trial.

Then, Friday, came the appeal court's ruling denying the request for delay.

Sandusky's defense team responded by filing yet another appeal, with the State Supreme Court.

That court could rule to delay the start of the trial.

But for now, the trial is still scheduled to begin Tuesday in Centre County court in Bellefonte with jury selection.

Jurors will be chosen from the area around state college where Jerry Sandusky and his family live and of course the area around Penn State's campus.
