Sandusky’s Attorneys Still Hope for Delay

It looks like Jerry Sandusky’s defense team is trying one last-ditch effort to get a delay in the sexual abuse trial that is scheduled to begin next week in Centre County.

According to online court documents, Pennsylvania Superior Court denied Sandusky’s petition, so now attorneys have appealed to the state supreme court.

That comes after a county judge repeatedly turned down the defense team’s requests to push back the trial.

As is stands now, jury selection for Sandusky’s trial remains on schedule for this coming Tuesday at the courthouse in Bellefonte.
