A man accused of threatening people with a loaded gun is off the streets.

Police in Hanover Township arrested Robert Deleo of Wilkes-Barre early Thursday morning after they were called to the 300 block of Hanover Village. People in the neighborhood described the man with a gun who threatened to shoot a resident.

Police later stopped a car driven by a man who matched the description and found a loaded gun in his car.

Deleo is accused of making terroristic threats and gun charges. He is in the Luzerne County jail.
