A tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 80 east has traffic down to one lane near the Lamar exit (173) in Clinton County.

The crash happened about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police said one tractor-trailer was going up a mountain going about 50 miles per hour when another truck, which was fully loaded and going about 70 miles per hour, rear-ended it.

The second tractor-trailer caught fire.  The driver escaped with minor injuries. The driver of the first truck was not hurt.

There is no word how long eastbound traffic on I-80 will be restricted.
