Aviation Day/Fly-In And Drive-In Breakfast

An event hitting Monroe County this Sunday could have your entire family soaring.   The Mount Pocono Rotary Club is hosting its annual “Fly-In/Drive-In Breakfast.”  It also serves as an Aviation Day of sorts. It all takes place at Pocono Mountains Municipal Airport this Sunday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.   The event will happen rain or shine. It includes a breakfast ($10 for adults, $6 dollars for kids), helicopter rides ($50 per person) and airplane rides ($25 for adults, kids 8 – `17 years old are free).  Cash collected from rides and food benefit a fairly new charity called “Lizzie’s Circle” which helps families that have kids battling cancer.  Learn more about the group here.  For more details on Mount Pocono Rotary, head here.
