Police in Luzerne County have arrested a man and charged him with homicide by vehicle.
Officers said Luis Gonzalez of Hazleton drove recklessly and was speeding when his car went off the road in Hazleton last October.
A passenger in the car, Paul Denoia, 18, of Foster Township died when the car went off the road and into the woods near Club 40 Road just off Broad Street.
Authorities said Gonzalez was 17 years old at time of the crash, and therefore he will face charges in Luzerne County's juvenile court.
