It didn’t take long for police in Luzerne County to make an arrest in armed robbery.

Investigators in Wilkes-Barre said the Turkey Hill store at Carey Avenue and Division Street was robbed just before midnight Monday by a man with a gun.

He ordered the clerk to hand over money, but when the clerk told him the register was locked, he took off with cigarettes.

About an hour and a half later Hanover Township police found a man matching the description of the robber and arrested Damon Millan, 22, of Nanticoke at  the home of David Hermanoski of Hanover. Inside the house officers found the stolen cigarettes, according to police.

Millan and Hermanofski were arrested.  Millan is charged with  robbery and related crimes.  It is unclear what charges Hermanofski faces.
