A 15-year-old boy and his mother face charges after police said the teen was driving without a license when he crashed into a police cruiser in Scranton.

Authorities said the boy drove through some flares Monday on the North Scranton Expressway then hit a police car.

The cruiser was blocking traffic after a driver coming the other way took out a concrete barrier on the highway.

No one was hurt in either crash.
