Four crimes in two counties Sunday night and early Monday, and police are checking to see if the same person is responsible.

Police have stopped short of saying three robberies and a burglary in two counties are connected, but there are similarities.

In Monroe County, the owner of a gas station in Brodheadsville said a man used a tire iron to break in about 9:30 p.m. Sunday.  The burglar stole cigarettes.

After the burglary in Brodheadsville, there was a robbery at a gas station along Route 115 in Blakeslee. The weapon used there was also a tire iron.

In Luzerne County, just before midnight Sunday, a mini mart was robbed.  It's along Route 115 in Bear Creek, near the entrance to the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

According to police, the weapon used was a tire iron.  No one was hurt.  Police have not said how much money was taken.

Just minutes later, shortly after midnight, a mini mart was robbed.  It's the Valley Mart store on Kidder Street in Wilkes-Barre.  Police have not said what type of weapon was used, and how much money the bandit got away with.
