A sex offender in Lycoming County will spend at least 13 years in prison.
Lawrence Newman of Williamsport was sentenced 13 to 30 years after pleading guilty to sex crimes, including statutory sex assault and corruption of minors.
Newman, who is HIV positive, was arrested in September, 2010 after police said he sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl who then became pregnant.
