Mother's Day is this Sunday and some businesses in the Poconos are starting to get swamped with gift orders.

The Floral Boutique in Downtown Stroudsburg is stocked with all sorts of flowers in every size and color.

Workers there said they are ready for one of their biggest holidays of the year.

"Lots of calls for arrangements, loose bouquets, presentation bouquets, a wide variety," said Alexis Batista of The Floral Boutique.

The shop is even open this Sunday, a day they are normally closed for business. They decided to open mainly for people who waited until the last-minute to grab a gift for mom.

"We're used to it.  You'd be surprised how many people are last minute, but there are and we're here," said Batista.

"It makes you feel good when you receive flowers," said Santina Zayas of East Stroudsburg, who hopes she's getting flowers for Mother's Day. "I better, from my husband and my six kids,".

While flowers are a great gift for mom, some mothers who spoke to Newswatch 16 said they prefer a quiet, relaxing day away.

"Oh my god, because we work so hard with the kids we need a day out at the spa, relaxing, no kids, no whining, no anything," said Priscilla Quiles of East Stroudsburg.

"It's so relaxing.  You go crazy every day and to be able to just sit down and relax and have somebody else pamper you, it's great," said mother of five Annette Kaiser of Stroudsburg.

At Pure Day Spa in Downtown Stroudsburg, workers said they are getting a lot of calls for Mother's Day gifts.

If you are confused as to what mom really wants, Pure Day Spa has a few ideas.

"A lot of spa packages, a lot of massages, you can pick companion massages, dad and mom, or mom and daughter massages," said  Amber Johnson of Pure Day Spa.

Of course, there are other options as well.  Dinner, clothing, jewelry, to name a few.

Whatever plans you have, all mothers say the most important gift happens to be three words, "I love you."
