More charges have been filed against a man already in trouble with the law in Luzerne County.

Police arrested William Gronosky Wednesday morning on charges related to a home invasion in March, but it was what happened at a second hearing a few hours later that startled onlookers.

The day began  when Gronowski first showed up at district court in Hanover Township to face new charges for a March home invasion.

He has already been charged with burglarizing a state trooper's home and robbing the Carousel Lounge in Plymouth Township at gunpoint.

Wednesday afternoon, Gronowski showed up for his second hearing at the Nanticoke Municipal Building for the armed robbery charges. Police said he and Kevin Williams stole several thousand dollars from the strip club, but it was Gronowski who lashed out in an expletive-ridden verbal tirade at the waiting news media.

The outbursts continued inside the Nanticoke Municipal Building when police arrested Ashley Evans who came to support Gronowski.

Police said she played a role in the Hanover Township armed robbery. She was arrested just outside the courtroom.

Investigators said she drove Gronowski to the home in Hanover Township and then picked him up later after he stole the car of the person he was robbing. That's when Gronowski allegedly shot at Wilkes-Barre police.

After police arrested Evans outside the hearing, Gronowski once again lashed out inside the municipal building.

The owner of the Carousel Lounge watched all this unfold and told Newswatch 16 he is simply glad it's all over.

Gronosky already faces other crimes including a robbery at the Carousel Lounge near Plymouth and firing shots at state troopers.

Investigators said he will face new charges in the coming weeks.
