A fire that destroyed a vacant  business in Carbondale was intentionally set, according to investigators in Lackawanna County.

Fire hit the Torch Lumber Mills on Clark Avenue in Carbondale around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. Officials said the large, wood-frame building was destroyed.

The same building was torched in February but no arrests have been made in that case yet.

No one was hurt in Tuesday morning’s fire.

Crews were on the scene for several hours putting out hot spots.
