A Scranton man has been charged with 194 counts dealing with child pornography in Wyoming County.
Investigators allegedly discovered images of underage children on William Groulx’s work computer.
Groulx, 48, was arraigned Monday afternoon. According to court documents, Groulx was arrested in October for indecent assault of a minor. His employer then began to grow concerned over his company computer use.
Groulx’s employer gave the computer to authorities and after an examination police allegedly found 194 child porn images saved.
Court records show he had been arrested by Easton police in 2002 for sexual assaulting a child under the age of 13. Groulx pleaded guilty and was registered as a sex offender.
He is currently locked up in the Wyoming County jail.
