Tuesday night the Delaware Valley boy's tennis team captured the District 2 AAA Team Tennis Title with a 3-0 win over Williamsport at the Kingston Tennis Center in Luzerne County.
Drew Corry from Delaware Valley won his #3 singles match (6-0), (6-0) over Nick Meale from Williamsport.
Lucas Cuartero and Kevin Quinn took the #1 doubles match (6-0), (6-0) beating Justin Smith and Tanner Ettinger.
Dan Kurtzman and Carl Pallini won their #2 doubles match with a (6-2), (6-0) victory over David Trice and Philip Knower.
In the #1 singles match Andrew Neidig from Delaware Valley won the first set (6-2) over Williamsport's Kenan Rajjoub before that match was halted and Joe Hunt Delaware Valley's #2 singles player also won set #1 (6-4) against Lorenzo Ricci.
This is Delaware Valley's first district title in tennis in school history.
