Ron Deliseo from Pittston Area won the Boy's 300 meter hurdle event on Saturday afternoon at the 16th annual James Cross Track and Field Invitational Meet at Wilkes-Barre Memorial Stadium.
The junior hurdler ran a 39.9 second time for the win on a beautiful spring day in Wilkes-Barre. Temperatures reached 80 degrees.
In the girl's 800 meter run Crestwood senior Hannah Coffin came in first with a winning time of 2:21
In the boy's 800 meter run it was Joe "Will" Butkiewicz from Wyoming Valley West coming in first in 2:04.
Tess Sauer from Wilkes-Barre Meyers won the girl's 200 meter dash in 26.6 seconds.
Mujahid Chesson from Wilkes-Barre Coughlin won the boy's 200 meter dash in 22.6 seconds.
The boy's high jump winner was a freshman from Northwest. Tyler Burger cleared 6 feet 2 inches. Tyler then failed on all three attempts at 6-4.
The girl's long jump winner Quieterra Gross- the Wilkes-Barre GAR sophomore jumped 17 feet.
